Our school is an institution built upon the philanthropy and philosophies of Charles Henry De Soyza, a man who believed in giving, sharing and progressing; a vision far ahead of his time. It is this vision that we have worked to treasure and nourish over the years, giving and sharing both knowledge and equal opportunity among students since the birth of this school in 1876.
The product of our efforts live within the hearts of our students who go on to achieve great heights in their careers and great merit in their lives beyond the school gates.
It is my intention to assist our school to rise towards its mission and produce worthy representatives of a generation that are rich in both brain and heart, in honour of the legacy that has been left behind as an echo of a timeless and important vision.
To my children, Remember that in this journey we call life, mindfulness will be your map as much as knowledge will serve you as your compass. Think of where you want to go, what heights you would like to reach, and wherever great destination you want to be led to, we, within this school, will gladly do our duty to lead.
